Anat Moshe Ostrower- Architect
As a Growing child in the city of Ramla, a joint city of Jews and Arabs where there are
mentally walls which define and characterize the urban space, I developed sensitivity to the issue
of separation.
For the last few years the mentally separation walls started to physically manifest, they are being build all over the country between Jews and Arabs, rich and poor, and in some ways, between religious and secular.
The separation wall brought me to think that one must try and return to the narrow common denominator between people from which a renewed growth will be possible.
The artistic display brings pictures which reflect everyday life, life routine in which one can learn about the basic actions which characterized all our lives.
The project tries to shed some light on the subject, from the naïve perspective of a small child, before he adopted the patterns of the society to which he belongs and to raise the subject to the public agenda.
