(Born 1970, Haifa, Israel), studied graphic design at the University of Arts in Berlin.
Her research trip to New York City in 1996 has led her to focus into art photography while
documenting nuances and fast phased city life.
With her artistic work, Ruthe Zuntz wants to overcome boundaries and forge links between
people and communities. Her photographs show the familiar features in strangers as well as the
unknown in neighbors. She is fascinated by the vibrant metropolis and the idyllic countryside alike
and shares her passion through her photographs.
She co-founded Walkscreen with Michael Reitz and continues to work on international artistic
collaborations.
