Steve Sabella, born in the Old City of Jerusalem, is one of the most widely exhibited artists in
Palestine today. In less than a decade, he staged more than thirteen solo exhibitions. He also
participated in numerous international exhibitions in Europe, Canada and the USA. His artwork has
been covered extensively by both the local and international media, and he has conducted dozens of
radio, television and print interviews.

development of the standard of professional photography over the last few years, having raised the
public appreciation for photography to an art form that now receives wide local appreciation and
recognition.
His ongoing project 'Jerusalem in Exile tangible memories' explores the mental image
Palestinians hold of Jerusalem and has gained international attention. Palestinians from all over
the world continue to be invited to participate in this unique art experience which has as its aim
the creation of a new perception of Jerusalem.
